At the outset of launching our own website, I extend a very warm welcome to one and all. The dynamic changes in today’s educational environment demand persistent efforts from both the teachers and the students. The launching of our own website is one step forward in this regard. Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1 A. F. S. Adampur is a premier institute of the area. It is a three section Vidyalaya with Science, commerce and Humanities streams at +2 levels. We have a highly competent experienced and dedicated staff working relentlessly and we have enthusiastic and well-disciplined students worthy to make their mark in all spheres of life. The Vidyalaya has a sprawling campus and a spacious school building housing well ventilated classrooms, well-equipped Science Lab, a very modern Computer Lab having LCD and other gadgets to enhance the teaching learning process, a Mathematics Lab, a well-equipped Library with books on various subjects, an Art Room and a well-equipped Music Room. Our Vidyalaya is known for its quality education and wonderful results. To ensure an all-round development of the child, the school takes up a number of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.

Our website attempts to present a glimpse of the school life achievements, happenings and activities in academics, the co-curricular and extra – curricular activities. It also gives us an opportunity to share as well as update the parents about activities of the school about changes and additions and also about the new initiatives and future plans of the school. Thus our endeavors are to make the children real achievers, potential and sincere citizens of modern India. We are aware of the tremendous responsibility; we are entrusted upon and pray to Almighty to help us in accomplishing our mission.
