SOP/NDMA

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) follows Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for disaster management, aligned with National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) guidelines. The SOP includes emergency response plans, disaster preparedness, evacuation procedures, fire safety measures, first aid, and earthquake and flood response. Regular drills, training for teachers and staff, student awareness programs, and emergency response teams ensure readiness. Collaboration with local authorities and adherence to NDMA’s school safety policy, disaster risk reduction, capacity building, community participation, and emergency response and relief protocols guarantee student, teacher, and staff safety during emergencies.
