GENESIS

Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1 (AFS) Adampur was established in 1965 at Air Force Station Adampur under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan New Delhi, an autonomous body managed by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of Education, Govt. of India.This was the model school of India which has classes from I to XII. The school has approximately 1400 students and 53 qualified staff.

At the beginning of launching our own website, I extend a warm welcome to all of you. Dynamic changes in today's educational environment demand sustained efforts from both teachers and students. Building our own website is a step forward in this regard. Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1 A.F.S. Adampur is a major institute of the area. It is a three-class school with science, commerce and humanities streams up to twelfth level. We have highly competent experienced teachers and dedicated staff who are continuously doing good work, and we have enthusiastic and disciplined students who are capable of leaving their mark in all walks of life. The Vidyalaya has a spacious campus and a spacious building, which has well-ventilated classrooms, well-equipped Science Laboratory, Mathematics Laboratory, two very modern computer laboratories with LCD, Projector, Smart Television and other equipment to enhance the teaching learning process are also present. An art room on various subjects and a well-equipped music room. Our school is known for its quality education and amazing results. To ensure all-round development of the child, the school organizes many co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. Our website attempts to present a glimpse of school-life achievements, events and activities in academics, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. It also gives us the opportunity to share and update parents about changes and additions to school activities as well as new initiatives and future plans of the school.
